World War 2 In Review Changes

Changes to World War 2 In Review are  coming soon.

The material on this Blog is being converted into PDF files that will contain articles on World War II topics. That will include the material that was presented on the Blog as well as much new material.

Each PDF will include hundreds of photographs and images to illustrate the articles.

Switching to a PDF format allows better presentation of the material. And more importantly, you have personal copies of the material to keep and use whenever you desire.

While material presented online is more immediate, over the years there have been numerous instances where websites have disappeared, sometimes overnight, and their material is just gone.

I turned 75 in the spring of 2026 and while I certainly plan to be around for quite a while longer, someday I will be gone and the Blog will disappear. I have no family interested in continuing Merriam Press or this Blog. Unfortunately, most of my family doesn't even read what I have produced. After all, it is a specialized area of history and not everyone finds this as fascinating as you and I.

Starting later this week, this Blog will be used to provide details and a link to download the first issue and then additional issues will be released periodically.

There will be no charge for each issue. There is no "catch". I do not save your information (email/snail mail addresses, etc).

I am "semi-retired" now and I have stopped producing works by outside authors as I was getting burned out after doing this for almost 60 years (since 1968). Merriam Press is still selling the books that have been released and that are still available online through many booksellers worldwide.

The World War 2 In Review PDF files will be stored online at Payhip.com, a service that allows small outfits like Merriam Press to offer their digital products for download. They also do not retain any of your information. You will receive an email from them advising you of what you are downloading. Even though you can download the file while online, the email they send also includes a link to download the file. If you use a one-time (fake) email address, you will not receive that email.

Please visit this Blog to check and download the latest issues.
