Since that time we have been making preparations for this, our first invasion. We have gone through drills that at the time seemed foolish and a waste of time. Now we are happy to know that we are well prepared for this “operation” as a result of these drills. Every man aboard this ship knows his job and is ready to perform it when the occasion demands.
