Website Theme Change

On October 9, 2025 I changed this site's theme to what I feel is a much better design than previous themes. Some pages will not be affected by this design change, but other pages that I changed and new pages I added in the last several days need to have some of their photos re-sized so they will display properly with the new theme design. Thank you for your patience while I make these changes over the next several days. -- Ray Merriam

A former French Panhard 178 armored car converted to a Schienenpanzer 204(f) road to railroad security vehicle scouts ahead and contacts partisan "Bands" or "Gangs" firing upon them with its 2cm cannon. It then radios for the BP-42 type Eisenbahn Panzerzug for support. the PZ bombards the enemy positions with its artillery and flakvierlings and its assault group disembarks to storm their hideout, directly. This is probably a staged scene, given the fact the partisans surrender, which is unlikely given that they knew full well they would be either executed on the spot or tortured and used for slave labor. Also the infantry are shown departing from side hatches, to make the scene more dramatic when in combat they used floor hatches as it made them much less exposed and didn't open the side of the train to potential destruction by a lucky shot.
