Website Theme Change

On October 9, 2025 I changed this site's theme to what I feel is a much better design than previous themes. Some pages will not be affected by this design change, but other pages that I changed and new pages I added in the last several days need to have some of their photos re-sized so they will display properly with the new theme design. Seversky BT-8: American Basic Trainer

Seversky BT-8 trainer aircraft.

The BT-8 was derived from the Seversky SEV-3 seaplane which first flew in June 1933. The BT-8 was a land aircraft and a predecessor to the Seversky P-35—a precursor to the P-43 Lancer (itself a predecessor to the famous P-47 Thunderbolt). A total of 30 BT-8s were produced for the U.S. Army Air Corps.
